The Early Years

Aardman Animations was founded in 1972 by Peter Lord and David Sproxton. The two met while studying animation at the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield, England. After graduating, they began working together on short films, and in 1976, they released their first professional film, "Morph." "Morph" was a huge success, and it quickly became one of the most popular animated characters in the world.
